The Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB) has led to the removal of over 30,000 trees and over $269 million in eradication efforts and replacement costs across six states.

ALB poses a severe threat to U.S. forests and urban landscapes, affecting the lumber, maple syrup, nursery, and tourism industries. Infested trees suffer from canopy thinning, branch dieback, and eventual death due to larval feeding, which disrupts the tree's nutrient and water transport systems. The beetle's presence in urban, suburban, and rural environments necessitate ongoing monitoring to prevent further spread and mitigation efforts.

From geofencing ALB to activated biochar.

We’re building a solution to geofence ALB, and upcycle trees destined for removal into biochar. Fill out this form to get updated when we launch.
