Restorative Pest Control
Join us.
Ticks and Browntail are pressing concerns for Maine communities, driving public health risks and damaging our ecosystems year after year.
We’re on a mission to change that.
By participating in our research, you’ll help us advance AI-powered systems to safely and efficiently manage both tick habitats and Browntail infestations - reducing disease risk, protecting biodiversity, and improving forest health.
Why Participate?
Innovative Technology: Join a cutting-edge project that combines artificial intelligence, aerial drones, and ground-based robotics (including “robotic dogs”) to target invasive pests and their habitats without harmful chemicals.
Community Impact: Your involvement directly supports a scalable, rapid-response solution to protect Maine’s residents, forests, and outdoor spaces.
How It Works:
Reserve Your Spot: Fill out the form below to participate. Once registered, you’ll receive all the details you need to get started.
Onboarding: Our team will guide you through the process, ensuring you understand your role.
Active Participation: You’ll observe, provide feedback, and host robotic systems (e.g., drones with trimming payloads, robotic dogs with tick-aggregating prototypes, aerial lifts with robotic arms) on your property for testing and data collection. Your input will help shape scalable pest management solutions as we learn and iterate.
Make a Difference: Contribute to safer, healthier communities by helping develop chemical-free methods to combat two of Maine’s most persistent threats.

FAQs:
Who can participate? Anyone in Maine with tick habitat (Fall ‘25) or Browntail Moth nests (Feb ‘26) who wants to be part of our research.
What is the commitment? You’ll host our drones, aerial lifts, or robotic dogs on your property for a free survey and/or paid removal services. We’ll collect data, and you’ll provide feedback on the process.
Is there any cost? Yes, pricing starts at $150/tree, plus $5 per nest removed (for ticks, $400 / acre + $1 / tick removed). Fees will cover research costs and you’ll be contributing to a vital environmental cause. There is a 50% discount for 10+ adjoining trees (Browntail) and / or acres (robotic dogs).
How will my data be used? All data collected will be used strictly for research purposes to improve and refine the AI models. Your privacy is our top priority.
Together, we can revolutionize how Browntail infestations are handled, creating a safer, healthier environment for everyone.
